Join us on a journey through Hamburg's unmissable Speicherstadt, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site internationally renowned for its rich history and culture.
As the world's largest and most famous warehouse district, it is still filled today with traditional traders of Oriental and Persian carpets. As we wind you through the warehouses, lagers, side streets, alleyways and canals of Hamburg's hidden district, the smell of roasting coffee reminds you that this is still one of the world's largest tea, coffee and spice trading posts. After we’ve explored the Speicherstadt, we'll head across the water to its neighbor the Hafencity, or Harbor City, home to the renowned Elbphilharmonie.
After a troubled start, in which the Elphi came in three times over budget and took three times longer to build than scheduled, today it is a major attraction and one of the most acoustically advanced concert halls in the world.
